Welcome to Day 10! Today we are going to look back on what we learned from Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Daily Devotional and Prayer
We are going to pray the second part of the Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This prayer is also a litany, just like the Litany of the Holy Ghost! This new litany we will learn is a very famous one, and is dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is sometimes called “The Litany of Loreto.” It was written in the Middle Ages, so Catholics have been praying this prayer for a long time! The names in this litany remind us of Mary’s holiness, kindness, beauty, and majesty. We also ask Mary to pray for us, so that we can grow closer to her Son, Jesus.
