Welcome to Day 13! We are going to continue the story of Our Lady of Lourdes.
Daily Devotional and Prayer
We are going to begin praying St. Louis de Montfort’s Prayer to Mary. This is a beautiful prayer, written by St. Louis de Montfort himself (the saint who originally designed the Consecration to Mary)!
We praise Mary for her profound virtue and acknowledge the honor God has bestowed on her. Importantly, we are not worshiping her, but instead giving her the merit she deserves. In the Bible, the Archangel Gabriel greets Mary with the words, “Hail, FULL OF GRACE, the Lord is with you” (Luke 1:28).
Because she is so close to Our Lord, we offer Mary all of ourselves and trust her with leading us to Jesus, her Son. Finally, we don’t ask her for amazing visions, fantastic miracles, or happiness all the time; we only ask that she make us into saints!
